Telkom Mall of Africa Inside Set-up
During the course of the first week of October, Telkom set up a stand within Mall of Africa to promote the Idols campaign, as well as to stimulate customer engagement. The stand included phone charging stations for the public to make use of, Huawei agents and promoters to educate potential customers about current offerings. Free Popcorn as well as a DJ and Photobooth setup were included in an attempt to create a vibe and attraction for foot traffic inside the mall. The aim of the activation was to create awareness for the Idols activation to take place at the end of the week and to direct fans towards the event.
