Telkom Idols Mall of Africa Set-up

Telkom held a Public activation open to the general community on the 4^th of October 2019 in Waterfall Park within Mall of Africa. The activation began with a live performance from last seasons’ Idols winner, ‘Yanga’ to open up proceedings. The Idols top 8 contestants then arrived shortly afterwards which then initiated the meet and greet signing session for the public. During the course of the activation MC ‘BIG Mike’ (Mikubz) as well as a live DJ took the floor of entertainment and opened the dancefloor to the public in an attempt to win prizes. The set-up included a photobooth in which fans could take photos with Proverb and receive a polaroid picture. These photos were then entered into a competition box in which fans stood a chance to win tickets to the final of Idols. This event was all about PR and Corporate Social Responsibility!
